The Clothing Project - Mutual relates to-the refugee histories The first design contains a pencil drawn teddy bear that I have seen in the Schindler’s museumIn my design, it is wrapped with red poppies, the flower that signified the end of war. A quote from the museum “bits of the past that gave them hope for the future” is printed at the front of the hoodie. The second design connects to the first one but is based on the current Ukrainian war. The focus of this design is the Ukrainian embroidery flowers that I have learnt from a Ukrainian refugee. This project helped me to develop a way of using art to make me more sensitive towards a topic I didn't experience first hand.
