Overexposed

Photography and Drawings

1. Take light away from the scene. ...

2. Change your f/stop. ...

3. Increase your shutter speed

This Photography project was developed based on the process of ‘overexposures’, using online videos and from the photography lesson at school I learnt how to use long exposure on camera to develop a series of images that showcased movement. In order to do this, the light had to be taken away from the scene, and the shutter speed needed to be increased on the camera. I then sat in the first position I wanted to be photographed in using a set timer tool. When I heard the click of the camera, I quickly changed into another position that would potentially overlap with the first one. Repeating the second step again for the third pose results in a long exposure shot.
