(Re)intrepating a piece of text into a piece of Art

This project is inspired by a book called Cinderlily: A Floral Fairy Tale in Three Acts by David Ellwand where flowers come to life and become characters of the story. Cinderlily is my childhood book, which symbolises the happiest moments and memories that I shared with my mother. I was inspired to translate these memories into another book which I filled with paper constructed mystical characters from my imagination. Some of the pieces are scans of real flower characters made from fresh flowers, aiming to recreate characters from Cinderlily with my own personal narrative.
