Photogrammetry: Drawing from Digital Processes

Infrared was a project to develop my understanding of digital modes of creating art. In this project I used 3D scanning and photogrammetry via my phone to develop self portraiture.  I wanted to explore combining the physical way of drawing and digital technology, in the hope of achieving a fluidity in merging both mediums showing how both human skill and the rising technology can coexist together. Whilst also emphasising that the traditional ways of working and drawings can never be replaced by inventions and technology. In this drawing, because of the luminous fluorescent colours, it is impossible to paint with oil paints. Therefore, I'm using oil pastel instead to make that transition and blend with the soft material and more luminous colours.
